Hi everyone! Welcome to another dose of “My Dental Tips” with me, Dr Shervin from Artistic Dental Studio.

I am so pumped today because I am going to present you a simple, cost-effective method to enhance your look in a very short time!

Let’s jump in:

Normal wear and tear is something that happens in mouth along the course of life of every individual. Since this phenomenon takes place over time, many of us are not aware of it because front teeth get shorter, and we get used to them. If you want to know more about this, either check our Facebook video or blog on full mouth rehabilitation.

This is why some people, especially in their 40s and 50s, begin to notice that their teeth are not as visible as they were during a full smile.

Now the question is: what is the solution?

Obviously, we need to replace the missing part of the teeth and it requires doing veneers or crowns. Some people may not be able to afford this treatment, and this leads us to the topic of my video today,

which is “Lite Dentistry”.

Long story short, the missing structures of the teeth could be replaced with composite resin, which is much more reasonable in terms of price compared to porcelain.

All is doable in the most predictable way by using DSD or Digital Smile Design.

This could be done in as short as three sessions and the cost would be as low as 1/3 of normal porcelain crowns and veneers.

The good point is, since everything is being done digitally, the whole project could be easily converted to porcelain later on if patient is seeking something even more durable.

For the first appointment,

digital records will be prepared, on the second one the plan is shared with patient,

and on the third it is executed.

This is how digital dentistry has enabled us to achieve predictable results in a very short time at affordable prices.
